When initiatives span multiple years, sectors, or organizations, it becomes difficult for those closest to the work to assess whether it is functioning as intended.
Individual reports may be strong. Activities may be well executed. But over time, the connections between goals, investments, and outcomes can become less clear.
My work focuses on examining those connections before the next renewal through:
Review of strategic plans, theories of change, grant portfolios, and relevant reporting
Interviews with leadership and key stakeholders
An examination of alignment between investments and stated goals
Identification of where goals, activities, and outcomes are misaligned
Facilitated discussions focused on necessary adjustments
The purpose of this work is not to generate additional reporting. It is to clarify how what has been learned should inform what comes next.
